The first phase of this major undertaking includes the relocation of five (5) bridges and the reconstruction of the Sholes Road Bridge. The new Sholes Road Bridge will be a significant improvement, widening by 100 feet and accommodating a much larger traffic flow. This upgrade is vital for creating an overflow area, allowing stormwater to safely move away from both residential homes and the roadways. By diverting excess water, this project will prevent flooding, provide a safer driving experience, and ultimately improve the area’s overall infrastructure.
